Your Options: Abortion, Adoption, or Parenting

Abortion
Having an abortion should never be considered an “easy” solution to an unexpected pregnancy. Abortion is a serious medical decision and can also carry emotional and mental health impacts.

If you are considering abortion, we encourage you to talk with us at Jaime’s Place. It is important to understand the different types of procedures, possible risks, and what to expect physically and emotionally. Because abortion can be a life-changing decision, we believe every woman deserves complete, accurate information so she can make a fully informed and knowledgeable choice.

Adoption
Choosing adoption is an incredibly difficult and deeply personal decision. For some women, adoption becomes an option when they feel unable to parent at this time in their lives.

Placing a child with a loving family who is prepared to provide stability and care can also be a meaningful and courageous choice. Adoption plans vary, including open, semi-open, and closed adoptions, depending on how much contact you would like with the adoptive family and your child. We can help you understand these options and walk with you as you explore what feels right for you.
