New Year, New Director

Karen Iddings & Karla Dimmett
What began as a simple act of obedience to God’s calling has grown into a life-affirming ministry serving women and families across Valley County. Under Karla’s steady leadership, Jaime’s Place expanded to two locations — Cascade and McCall — and has walked alongside hundreds of moms with compassionate care, practical support, and the hope of Christ.
Her heart for life has shaped the very foundation of this ministry, and countless families are stronger today because she said “yes” to the Lord.
Now, Karla is stepping back from daily leadership to focus on her family — enjoying time with grandchildren and caring for those closest to her. While her role may be changing, her legacy will continue to bless Jaime’s Place for years to come. We are deeply grateful for her faithfulness and sacrifice.
As one chapter closes, another begins.
We are pleased to welcome Karen Iddings as Jaime’s Place’s new Director.
Karen brings a deep love for women facing crisis pregnancies and a heart for serving families with both compassion and truth. She previously served with Stanton Healthcare, a pregnancy resource center in Boise, and after moving to Cascade became actively involved with Jaime’s Place as a board member and board president.
Karen and her husband, Richard, also spent over twenty years running a business focused on helping organizations identify needs and develop effective outreach — experience that now supports the mission of Jaime’s Place in meaningful ways.
“I am humbled and grateful to step into this role,” Karen shares. “Women and families facing unplanned or crisis pregnancies have real and urgent needs, and I’m thankful God allows Jaime’s Place to offer healing, hope, and help through His life-affirming truth.”
We look forward with gratitude for all God has done — and anticipation for what He will continue to do through this ministry.
Forgiven & Set Free
Post-Abortion Healing Bible Study Begins March 30
At Jaime’s Place, we believe no story is beyond God’s grace and no heart is beyond His healing.
If you or someone you love carries the weight of a past abortion, you are not alone.
Forgiven & Set Free is a confidential, Christ-centered, 8-week Bible study designed to help women gently walk through grief, shame, and guilt — and discover the freedom, forgiveness, and restoration found in Jesus.
In a safe and compassionate setting, participants will:
• process their story
• experience biblical truth and healing
• find encouragement and support
• and move forward with hope
This study is private, small-group based, and led by caring women who understand.
Healing is possible. Freedom is real. And it’s never too late to begin.
Classes begin March 30.

Making Room for More Families
Expanded Space for Our McCall Resource Center
The generosity of our community has created a wonderful “problem” — we’ve run out of space!
Thanks to the incredible support of donors, churches, and volunteers, our McCall baby boutique has grown so much that it has completely filled our current location. As more families come through our doors for practical help and encouragement, we knew it was time to make room for even more ministry.
We’re excited to share that Jaime’s Place has secured additional space in the Park Place Plaza in McCall to better serve our clients.
This new first-floor office will provide:
• client check-in
• counseling and mentoring space
• private meetings
• and additional storage to support our growing boutique upstairs
Having a dedicated, welcoming space allows us to serve women and families with greater comfort, dignity, and care.
We are so grateful for how God continues to provide — and for each of you who makes this growth possible through your prayers, giving, and service.

A Message from Our Director
It is truly an honor to step into this new season as Director of Jaime’s Place.
When I look at what God has done through this ministry over the past fourteen years, I’m filled with gratitude — for Karla’s faithful obedience, for our volunteers and churches, and for each family who has walked through our doors. Jaime’s Place has always been His work, and it will continue to be.
My prayer is simple: that God would use us even more in the days ahead.
At Jaime’s Place, we are not only pro-life — we are pro abundant life.
We desire to walk alongside women and families with compassion and truth, to meet practical needs, and most importantly, to point hearts to Jesus. We want every mom to know she is loved, every dad to grow into the man God has called him to be, and every family to find lasting hope and connection through Christ and His church.
As Jesus said, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” — John 10:10
That is the heart behind everything we do.
Thank you for praying, giving, volunteering, and standing with us. Together, we look forward with expectation to the next chapter God is writing for Jaime’s Place — trusting Him to continue bringing healing, hope, and help to families throughout our community.
With gratitude,
Karen Iddings
